DAUDA (dj)

Dauda Kondeh Jr, also known as DJ; Kunday; Diamond D; Don Dauda, was born in DC, raised in Mo County. He came from a family proud of there Sierra Leone descent. From day one always loved to party and always loved music. Bob Marley, Kool mo Dee, Lucky Dube, and Michael Jackson were his favorite artist as a child. Always at every event from the community get together, house parties, and school dances. The life he led as a child and teenager put him in the best position to promote entertainment to the masses. He applied his hustle and talents to his situation, and created what you know now as Mass Movement Entertainment.

BENGA

Things change as much as they stay the same, keeping up with circumstance as they change requires a great deal of mental fluidity. The Greek Thinker Aristotle thought that “life was defined by movement. What does not move is dead”. I believe in upward mobility, which means the avoidance of the same tiresome predictability of daily life, and not letting my mind settle into static position day in and day out repeating the same lifeless maneuvers. For those reasons, i always challenge my understanding, by being curious about life and finding new ways to adapt to the ever changing complexity and chaos of my daily life.

NELS (king)

Nels Cephas proud “Liberian native” and a very outspoken individual who never fell back from saying what was on his mind, was always known to be a very deep thinking & comedic young man to his peers and colleague. From the streets of Newark, New Jersey where he started his child hood and later down the road moved to Maryland with his mother. Nels was never they type of child to stay at home. He always love the outdoors as well as partying and enjoying life with those who share the same passion as he did, which was being ambitious, motivated, hard working and having a vision. While graduating from Montgomery Blair High School class of 2004, Nels will later pursued his college education up at Sacramento California. While majoring in the field of Psychology in California, Nels felt that there was more to his passion then just school, so after a year in California he later moved back to Washington DC. There he found the passion of being an event planner and throwing the biggest and best parties in Washington DC that cater to all nationalities and genders. With help from his friends Dauda Kondeh Jr., Benga Ajakaye & Ramone Messam (his old high school classmates) and presently his Business Partners of what we all know them as Mass Movement Entertainment.

RAMONE (mr.mone)

Ramone Messam, Aka Mone or Mone on da Beat, was born and raised in Prince Georges County and later moved to Mo County were he met his future business partners Dauda and Nels. Ramone comes from a Jamaican background and the skill of music and promote was passed down by generation. His Grandfather Lord Messam was the originator of calypso music.  His father Killa Fonz was the Founder of their record label BLACK LIBERTY RECORDS were Ramone is vice president. Ramone currently attends Howard University where he studies TV production for future entertainment endeavors.

Motivation is my fuel and success is my destination. Music is my life and promotion is my heartbeat. I’m a leader, a trendsetter, and an inspiration figure. We set the bar, BLACKLIBERTY and MASSMOVEMENT IS WHO WE ARE.

AJ aKa Young Mogul

A.J. Thompson also like one of his business partner Nels Cephas is of Liberian decent. A.J. Came into the business thru friend Abdul Sesay while still attending high school. A.J. Promotion career started with the assistance of Abdul ( former owner of H20 and Platinum ) now current owner of Lux Lounge. A.J. Has spent his time in this business negotiating contracts for artist, models, and pro athletes. A.J. Looks at Mass Movement as a brother-hood who are determined to break barriers and showcase there youthful ideals to the promotion game not just locally but worldwide. A.J. Is determined for success and won’t let himself and others down doing so. In his spare time, he enjoys getting money, watching and playing sports, and video games.
